The Kitchen Table Cafe - Callicoon
The Kitchen Table Cafe
Description
Nestled in Callicoon, this charming coffee bar offers a delightful selection of baked goods, brunch items, and fair trade coffees. While the indoor seating is slightly limited, guests can enjoy a shaded outdoor patio. The cozy atmosphere is complemented by friendly, welcoming owners, although service can be inconsistent during busy hours. While some patrons find the coffee quality varies, the homemade pastries, particularly the famed yodels, receive rave reviews. Overall, this spot is perfect for a casual visit, albeit with a few areas for improvement in service and menu size options.

Very nice, also a very beautiful cafe, employees are super kind. The boba is delicious. I love stopping by when I’m in the area. I recommend
Walked in at 3:01 yesterday, as the website and sign on the door states they are open until 4pm. There were a bunch of people sitting down. We went up to the cash register to get a cup of coffee and she informed us that they were closed as of 3pm (1 minute prior to us walking in). The door was open, people were inside but she couldn't serve us a cup of coffee. Waste of time as I have 0 cell reception in callicoon and could not find another place to go to.
Charming café with delicious food and quick service, along with a lovely shop. Vegetarian options: Abundant. Parking: Street parking available.
My wife loves the chai here, but the coffee lacks consistency; they can't seem to make it the same way twice. I've been visiting during the summers for several years, and I'm always disappointed by the coffee—it never tastes the same. Additionally, the sizes are limited; they really need a size larger than 16 oz and one smaller than 12 oz.
