The Callicoon Cafe came highly recommended by the staff at Villa Roma, and they were spot on. We dined at the cafe twice during our three-day visit because the food was just that good. The omelets were fantastic, especially loaded with bacon. My wife loved the home fries, and the pancakes were delicious. The prices were incredibly reasonable and the views of the river and the clean, cozy decor were a bonus. We were impressed with Shane, who was jokingly referred to as the "Most Handsome Man in Callicoon," and the food was exceptional. We even asked to speak to the owner to give our compliments directly. Everyone at the cafe was so kind. Thank you for a wonderful experience. Sincerely, your fans from New Hampshire.

The food was delicious and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Despite reading a negative review, I decided to give it a try and I'm so glad I did. The reviewer was definitely wrong. Overall, I would rate the service, food, and atmosphere all a 5 out of 5. For breakfast, the price per person was between $10-20.
