Fennelly's is a cozy coffee shop with a quaint atmosphere and friendly staff. While the vegetarian Panang Curry was disappointing, the cafe offers vegan and vegetarian options. The cafe is known for its great coffee, beautiful interior, and community feel. With local foods, free fires in winter, and a courtyard for summer, Fennelly's is a hidden gem in Callan. The eclectic decor, warm fireplace, and locally sourced food create the perfect environment for a relaxing breakfast or coffee. Overall, Fennelly's is a unique and welcoming spot, worth a visit for those seeking character and charm over mainstream appeal.
Fennellys is so charming! Delightful people and lovely food.
What an absolute gem of gem. How to describe Fennellys? I could never do that justice. You really will have to visit for yourself to experience it's delights. The food is fresh uber healthy, with lots of locally sourced ingredients. The welcome is hearty. The surroundings are so quaint, unique, just .... different. Love this place!
Great for a relaxed meal. The platters for sharing are excellent. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. I adore the relaxed atmosphere.
What a surprise to find this place. It was like walking into a magical place. Cosy armchairs, sofas a roaring fire. Beautiful court yard. A peace of heaven and the coffee and cheese cake were delicious.
I paid €16 for a toasted ham and cheese sandwich with some veggies and a cappuccino. Definitely not worth it. I should’ve checked the menu prices before ordering. I wouldn’t get such an expensive sandwich again. The staff are really nice though.
