Offering us coffee... read more I think the cafe is currently closed to the public but the hostel still runs. We were early arriving with no booking but she was so friendly. Offering us coffee and making sure the beds were ready early. The dorm was a bunk bed and 2 singles. I think one guy lives in the dorm and helps in the hostel as he had so much stuff in the room!! The wifi was okay but didn't reach the room and there was only a 2 seat sofa in the upstairs area to sit in wifi area. Kind friendly staff ❤️

T... read more Nice atmosphere, and like the touch of having jenga on the tables. The food and drinks are pretty good but would benefit from a slightly larger range of food. The (assumed to be) owner is nice and you're seen to and served promptly. Biggest gripe would be the inclusion of 10% "voluntary" service charge in the bill total. You can opt to not pay it and ask the total to be changed which would of course make you look tight. Service should be included in the price of an item; rent, electricity, gas etc are included so why not service? Just leaves a bad taste in your mouth when you feel obliged to pay extra rather than tipping for great service.
