Menu
Here you will find the menu of Chiefs Hideaway in Calhoun. At the moment, there are 88 meals and drinks on the list.
A family-run Calhoun seafood spot praised for excellent fried fish, shrimp, baked potatoes and desserts, with generally friendly, quick service and reasonable prices. Experiences vary: many diners love the food and seating, while others report slow or incorrect orders, uneven dish quality, brusque management and an uncomfortably warm, quiet dining room. Wheelchair ramp is available but handicapped parking is limited. A solid casual choice for seafood lovers who can tolerate occasional inconsistency.

Great addition to the Calhoun area!! A lot of places in Calhoun only thrive because of the fact they are close and people don’t feel like driving into West Monroe, looking at you iron cactus. This place is the exception it’s your standard southern fried seafood but done extremely well. I’d put it up against any place in town. They also still serve baked potatoes which for some reason is a rarity nowadays in seafood j... View all feedback.

I had a fantastic dining experience with great food, cold beer, and incredibly friendly staff. The desserts were particularly delicious, and the service was quick. However, the atmosphere could benefit from some music, as it felt a bit too quiet. Overall, I would rate the food and service as excellent, giving them both a score of 5. The atmosphere gets a 4 for improvement. I dined in for dinner, and the price per person ranged from $10 to $20. They also did not accommodate any specific dietary restrictions.
I had the best fried catfish I've ever tasted! The staff was really friendly as well. For dining in, I had dinner and it cost between $10 and $20 per person. Overall, I would rate the food a perfect 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere also a 5!
A home away from home. Food is assume! Fish plate is to die for. Don't forget the deserts. They are home made. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Salad, PO Boy, Fish Platter
