Garlic bread (balo do caco) , 3 fish fillets with salad and chips , 2 desserts and drinks for 3 for under €50! The waiter was so welcoming and friendly ,even though we arrived at 8.40 on a Sunday evening. Nothing too much trouble

We had the garlic brea... read more We stumbled upon this place by accident and although it looks basic from the outside, the food was some of the best we tasted in Madeira. We had the garlic bread garlic prawns served with chips and salad and a traditional beef skewer, which came dripping in garlic and cooked to perfection. A typical workman's style Portuguese cafe that was rustic, charming and reasonably priced.

It is not a... read more We are a family of six and we’re looking for somewhere close to our rental house on the sea front. We found this place and we are very glad we did. It is not a fancy place or cheap. But everything is very fresh and the people are very friendly. The quality is great and well worth a visit. We ate there very night of our stay. A great place thank you.
