Blood eve... read more Excellent food and service, but the evening was spoiled by the awful television screen which was showing open heart surgery from an operating theatre. Blood everywhere not what you want when eating a steak, and difficult to avoid looking at when it's on a wall directly in front of you. What's the point of a television being left on in a restaurant with no one checking what's being shown? A pity lovely evening otherwise.

We ordered shrimps as entrance, mix grilled plate, chicken with Champignons as main dish, and grilled pineapple as dessert (I recommend it! . We like not just the quality of the food, but also the rustikal atmosphere, middle in the nature. The house red wine was very good as well, we took two bottles to take them with us home. As Madeira lovers we will definitely come again.
