Great breakfast place and for a drink after a day on the water Full of boat crew, great friendly staff and yummy simple breakfasts also the best Chinesa coffee !!!
The good part, they have a fair variety of local beer, and it's quite good (I wasn't expecting it to be that good, frankly even ubiquitous local Coral is good). And it was quiet and not busy though it had a tired and scratched vibe to it, so that's probably why. The food was bland it wasn't bad, but it was somehow lacking the taste where taste is usually present (like salmon steak). So it's a decent place for a glass or two, but for food not as much.
Had lunch here in the absence of other choices for a decent, quality light lunch. We were not disappointed, service was pretty good, the food very good and it's right by the marina. The only issue was the squeaking noise made by the ramp to the pontoon in the marina as the pontoon went up and down with the waves
Our small tour group stopped here for lunch during our day visiting South West Madeira. It is in a good location next to the marina and has a decent range of both food and drink options. My husband had a cheese and tomato toastie which was fine except that the bread wasn’t really toasted! I had the almond and sugar cane syrup pancakes, which were very nice although having whole almonds scattered around as the almond component was a little odd. We both had a smoothie: my husband’s tropic one tasted nice but was quite watery whilst my pina colada one was definitely full of pineapple! Our group as a whole had similar “ok but not great” reactions to their food to be honest. Service was friendly if not particularly fast; our server spoke excellent English.
