What Mitchell Murphy likes about Why Not Italian:
I have been there twice for dinner in the last month. Both experiences excellent. Unfortunately when I find something I really like, I'm a creature of habit, so had the same dish the second time. I can't remember the name of it but it was a linguini dish with chicken and prawns made in a very delicious light sauce. Next time I must be more adventurous! Excellent friendly service and nice atmosphere. View all feedback.

read more"Why Not Italian" has been a staple in the Strathcona community for years, serving up delicious Italian cuisine with attentive service. The atmosphere is lovely, especially if you can snag a seat by one of the windows or enjoy dining outside in warm weather. The menu offers a variety of dishes, from shrimp in garlic butter sauce to linguini with chicken and prawns in a light sauce. Despite some mixed reviews regarding service and wait times, many patrons find the food to be worth the visit. With a cozy ambiance, friendly staff, and tasty pasta dishes, it's no wonder that this restaurant has become a favorite dining spot for many in the area.
