Wasim's Donair & Pizza - Calgary

I visit washims pizza at least twice a month. I am a fairly regular customer. this visit I have learned that the young male worker in her face has physically hit the female hired! interesting! before I saw the same girl that was hit with a horrible black eye! I didn't ask. it asks, however. is this the way the little pizza shop treats her female employees?

Recently we ordered two pizzas some wings and the lack of toppings and baked look taste of pizzas was disappointing. the wings were under the season and the vegetarian pizza did not have the extra cup for which we paid. Usually what we order. from here is quite good, although in the past there were some minor unconsistencies. in these days I feel that it is more important than ever to support our small businesses, but under the line - we did not get what we paid. we called and told them about it and received an apology, but there was no attempt to correct anything. no further support from us.

For about years, and their donairs were always great. we had a bad experience, but they apologized and where super great is about it. customer service is really amazing and also you eat. we're all driving from strathmore. time only to eat here

We order wash at least once in the month usual the award-winning donair pizza and the grill chicken. saucen tangy crust is crispy and a good amount of toppings.

Sometimes the seemingly simple foods are the most difficult to make stand out, but this place does a good job of doing just that. Their Donair is fresh, tasty, and decent value. The pita is soft and fresh, the lettuce, tomato and onion were fresh...and flavourful, the sweet sauce was tasty, but not overpowering, and the meat was especially good. This place takes one extra step with their Donair meat, that makes it both better and I'd guess safer as well. After shaving it off of the vertical spit, they put it in an ovenproof tray, and finish it in their pizza oven. This adds a bit of crispness to the meat, and brings it up to temperature as well, ensuring it's both fully cooked, and pleasing to eat. Also, judging from the pace at which they were making pizzas while I was waiting for the Donairs, it appears to be a very popular place to order pizza from. A good sign.
