This was the first time I had Vietnamese food. It was the most comforting food at -30 degrees temperature. They are quick, the place is neat and the food simple and soothing. Nice place. View all feedback.
What Cly Salleh doesn't like about Vietnamese Village:
If you choose to eat outdoors today, a nice hot spicy) soup and sandwich would be good. I was surprised to see that the Express place still had their mini patio set up but since we're back to summer weather next week I suppose it's not that crazy. I tried the wonton noodle soup and the sate pork sub both not bad) and then warmed up at Wish Cafe with a hot chocolate and blueberry mouse cake. — at Vietnamese Village Ex... View all feedback.
Excellent Satay soup Referred by a friend to Vietnamese Village Express to try out #17 Satay beef noodles soup. We were told it’s the best satay noodles soup in Calgary and we did not get disappointed. Soup was very rich; Meat quality and portion were decent; noodles were chewy, portion was decent. We also ordered the shrimp salad roll and it was not bad. The good: very rich and tasty satay soup. We believe that soup is the #1 factor (followed by noodles, beef, basil, lime, and bean sprouts) to a bowl of good Pho and this restaurant has aced it. Critiques: price is on the higher side, but definitely worth it for the soup. If you like satay pho, we highly recommend you to try this place out. You will not regret it.

I always heart Vietnamese Phôá soup. That's one of their especialty in Vietnam. However, making this soup the traditional way takes time. What we have here is commercialized and so MSG is unavoidable which make it less a star.(depending on someone's tolerance to monosodium glumate) the one I went was a bit high.Nevertheless, this is where I go during cold season regardless of slight allergic reaction to MSG.

The business itself is hidden a little bit but have done a great job in getting your eyes attention. If it wasn't for the canopy, I would've missed it altogether. Service was very prompt all the way through and very efficient, from the time we walked in, was taken to our table , ordered our food and food being delivered to our table was somewhere in the 5 10 minute range. The food was excellent and very tasty as well as having good portion to price balance. The restaurant itself was very well done and looked after very well. Great job in everything that they have done. I definitely will be going back.
