Small local restaurant with homemade salsa, guacamole and other traditional Mexican foods. You can order hot meals or take away prepared meals for reheating at home later. I've never been disappointed with the service or quality. Very friendly staff too. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Tres Marias Mexican Food Market:
We enjoyed our authentic Mexican meal at Tres Maria's. The meal was organic and gluten free so suits people with dietary restrictions. The food was good but it was pricy for what we got. View all feedback.
My family has been visiting Tres Marias infrequently for many years.
Happy overall with the quality and taste of everything here, BUT it is very expensive.
Yes yes yes yes! This is exactly the Mexican I need and love in my life! This place is a total hidden gem.

Truth be told, I really needed a washroom so turned off 14th and headed into Marda Loop to look for a pitstop. There is a little plaza with shops and what I thought was a Vietnamese restaurant. It was gone so I went into Tres Marias instead. I was expecting a full restaurant but only saw a couple of tables and two women finishing their meal. I asked if they served hot food and was told they did so I used the washroom and then took a look at the small menu on the wall. If you use their bathroom, ya gotta but something. It was lunch time so everything was available but I was told that the bison burritos were very popular. I took my lunch to go and it was neatly packaged with a spicy green salad, small burrito, and quite hot cold tomato sauce. This complex little sauce is to die for! The burrito was good but the sauce made it great.I have to say that I'm pretty excited to have found this restaurant because it is so much more than a place to grab a home made burrito or taco. This family owned establishment has an adorable display of Mexican delicacies and treats both packaged and fresh. There is a fridge full of fresh sauces and dips and freezers are full of fresh frozen Mexican dinner items including masa based pizza and tamales in corn husks. Everything looked so good that I know we will go back and pick up some amazing food for future meals. They also have things like whole vanilla beans, strawberry sugar, and fresh home made tortillas. Masa means corn based so no gluten for those who don't want it. They claim no additives too.Long story short, if you like to discover hidden treasures in Calgary's food scene, drop into Tres Marias Mexican Food Market and bring home some amazing food.
