This is easily some of the best Sushi we have eaten! Plus they were very good about just serving us a beer if we wanted to wonder around the casino. Again the staff were very nice and knowledgeable! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Tobiko Sushi and Martini Bar:
Me, my fiancé and another couple tried out the martini & sushi bar last Friday and we have been throwing up sick since. The sushi was of VERY poor quality....the oysters had a foul smell and I knew they were bad after trying just one.....service was the pits and the one drink we all stayed for was horrible.Everything was grossly over priced and for what?? to get food poisoning??You cant mess around with raw food! If you are willing to pay $49.50 for a voucher for three clusters of crab legs and access to a seafood buffet that only offers a hot dish and four cold seafood dishes, along with boiled Prime Rib, side dishes, and dessert salads, then this may be the right choice for you. However, we were disappointed with the changes. It is clear that the casino is trying to save money by limiting the amount of crab legs offered, but the drastic decrease in customers on a Friday night shows that this decision may not be sustainable in the long run. We experienced this firsthand when we brought a friend who was celebrating her birthday and who used to be a fan of the original buffet. She has decided not to return. We would recommend going to Grey Eagle instead. While they may not have crab legs, their Prime Rib is better and the chocolate fountain makes the lower costs worth it. We were very disappointed with our experience at this restaurant.
I went last week on a Friday for my birthday and was disappointed to find out they didn't have crab legs. I was looking forward to them and would only come back to town for that. I'll have to look for another place that offers all-you-can-eat crab legs until they bring them back.
If you're a fan of delicious Prime Rib and fantastic snow crab, then you must visit this restaurant! The portions were generous and plates were never left empty before being filled up again. As we sat at our table, we could hear the sounds of satisfaction coming from other diners as they cracked into the crab legs. The experience was truly enjoyable.
We have gone to the Friday night buffet a few times a year for the past several years and while the cost is slightly higher than other Casino buffets in the city, the cost has seemed reasonable as we all like crab as well as the prime rib. However, there have been recent changes to the way the buffet is run as we discovered tonight. Apparently, the Casino decided to discontinue offering the crab legs last March and due to customer demand recently brought it back - for an additional cost. So, if you want to pay $49.50 to be given a voucher for three crab 'clusters' and access to a 'seafood' buffet that only offers one hot dish and four cold seafood dishes, over cooked prime rib, five side dishes and a handful of dessert / salads this may be right for you. It no longer is for us. It is a shame Deerfoot, while you may feel like you are saving money by limiting the amount of crab legs for the additional cost, the fact that you went from having a large buffet with patrons filling the Chrome room to about 35 customers on a Friday night should give you pause for thought on how this is going to affect your bottom line. We did pay the price as we had brought a friend celebrating her birthday who is a fan of the original buffet. She has decided she will never be going back. Save your $ folks and head to Grey Eagle instead. While they may not have crab the prime rib is better and the chocolate fountain makes the lower cost worth your while. Very disappointed.
Went last week for my bday and no more friday night crab legs. Was very sad I would travel across the city just for them. Have to gind all you can eat crab legs elsewhere won't be back until crab legs are.
