Having travelled for 17hrs from Europe to Canada last night, we dropped by the restaurant and to our dismay, saw the 'Closed' sign. However, the restaurant staff/owner were kind enough to stay open enough to cook our order as a take away meal since they theoretically closed at 7pm on Saturday evenings. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the meal (stirfry chicken with broccoli with rice- lots of veggies... View all feedback.

I have lunch with a group of 4-6 once a month. The service is always quick, you could likely get in and out in 1/2 an hour, if you can find a table. it tends to get busy at lunch, sometimes even lining up out the door. Plan to go early or late if you don't have a reservation. The Food is pretty good for this type of restaurant. View all feedback.
Another of them, let them try to find them and they are pleasantly surprised. had a fast lunch, won-ton suppe with egg noodles. very nice, the broth was sufficiently delicious and the bowl was plentiful. but only a short note; I have to go back to try the victory again. they have a mixture of pork and garnel to which I have to get used. platz has eclectic clientele, businessmen, passersby and the like.
With daughter and grandchildren....a fast service and eating was great! would recommend for family, friends or couples!
Have been to this restaurant twice. Both times service was atrocious. First time was at lunch with no reservation. They got us in then ignored us for 10+ minutes before bringing water or taking our order. We considered walking out due to service delays. Food...was decent, but took a long time to arrive. After the meal the bill took forever to arrive as well. Second time we went we had a lunch reservation, were promptly seated, given menus then ignored for 10+ minutes. After seeing another customer get seated, brought a menu and water, and had their order taken before us, we decided to walk out. Not sitting for 15 minutes just to get our order in. Improve the service. Don't leave customers waiting to clear empty tables. Take their order first, then do the maintenance stuff. There is more than 1 server working there so I am not sure why each doesn't have their own section and take orders promptly.
We stopped for a quick lunch. The service was good and food was out within 10 minutes ... Flavourful and hot!! Prices were fair, I don't mind paying for a meal when it is good!
It was mid afternoon close to 3 when I decided to stop in and get something to go. There were a few staff sitting at a table eating and a view of the front so they asked if it was for one. I said I...wanted to get take out and one of them brought me a menu. They had the usual Vietnamese food with pho and vermicelli bowls. Since it was a late lunch and soon to be dinner time, I decided to get the 3 shrimp salad rolls for $7. The woman assumed I was paying by card and gave me the machine. I asked her how long it would be and she said 10 minutes so I decided to come back. It wasn't quite 10 minutes and she a bag with a container waiting for me. The rolls came with the peanut sauce and some hot sauce on one side. I scooped more of the peanut sauce onto the rolls and devoured them. There was the typical shrimp cut in half and about 3 or 4 pieces in each roll. They were ok, nothing special but satisfied my hunger. Next time would like to try a soup or noodle bowl.
