I haven't been to the Winkin for at least a year and went for Wing Wednesday last week. The place was jam packed with people (it's wing Wednesday), but service was incredible - pleasant server, and speedy. We ordered 3 different kinds of the 96 flavours of wings and enjoyed them all. What User doesn't like about The Winkin' Owl:
After all the drama with the management running into the ground the owl arises again. We had the steak sandwich which was pedestrian... nothing wrong steak on bread with fries. But no fanfare. I use to go to winkin owl all the time for wing night but stopped going because the service wasn't the greatest I understand things happen servers...
Great to hate! New ownership is terrible! had to find a new place that respects there customers !
Yuck. Drinks served in dirty glasses. Slow service even when dead. The new owner. Is so rude. Wish old owners were still running the place.
