A surprisingly good burger and pub. There are dozens of these hipster restaurants around downtown, but the libertine seems to have its own unique vibe and food. Would recommend checking it out. Lots of room and tables to choose from, decent service. View all feedback.

Had my first raspberry beer here and enjoyed some nice burgers and friendly service on a busy street. Lots of tap selection and delicious fries as well as lunch specials. View all feedback.
I first came here last week when I was visiting Calgary on a Holliday from the UK. We came in and had some pitchers and for a group of 11 young lads the service was spot on and the drinks we brought quickly, the atmosphere was perfect as it wasn't to busy and the music was good.Being impressed with the first visit we decided to come back for food but were treated very poorly by one of the waitresses who refused our uk driving licenses as a valid ID despite that not being a problem earlier. Her manager stepped in and they had a argument just meters from our table allowing us to receive the rude glances they were giving to our table. With this happening within 5 minutes of arrival the food would have had to be out of this word to redeem the experience, despite this the poor body language of the staff and 19 minute wait for our drinks was yet another let down. Also the food was fairly average but prices accordingly so you at least get what you're expecting...Finally be aware of the service charge as they probably don't receive many tips if this customer service is anything to go by.

We had lunch here with a few drinks and it was a great place. Comfortable booths with a lot of variety on the menu. The food and service were both very good. We were very happy as we just chose it at random walking down the street. I would recommend going there if you're looking for some casual food and drinks.
I have been here twice and both times I enjoyed some excellent food and great beer. The first time was on Monday night in football season and I ate upstairs where they had the game on with sound. I sat at the bar, service was excellent, and the pizza was very good. Very recently I sat downstairs and had the fish tacos while enjoying a pint. The tacos were very good and a thin slice of jalapeno in each of the three tacos gave them just the right amount of zing. The guacamole portion is small for $3 so I would skip that unless you are in need of a guac fix. Sitting at the bar does not provide a strong test of table service so I can't say anything about that but the bartenders were friendly and helpful on both visits.
