We had a wonderful Christmas dinner at Lougheed House. It's a beautiful venue, and the tasteful Christmas decorations added to the ambiance. Our server, Tiffany, was delightful—friendly and attentive, she made sure every detail was taken care of, enhancing our already excellent experience. The meals were delicious and clearly prepared with exceptional care and culinary skill. We enjoyed a very relaxing afternoon. Man... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The At Lougheed House:
I visited for the Christmas experience and enjoyed the great music and service. However, the food was a bit disappointing; it was cold, and overall, I expected better quality given the price. View all feedback.
It was a wonderful experience! I love the Xmas ambiance! it was magical! I also loved the piano player and especially st nick! the only negatiw was that my yorkshire pudding was burned! the personal was wonderful! great experience!
We were disappointed with the ambience compared to before when we have attended Christmas dinners at the Loughheed House Upon entry no Christmas tree no decorations the livingroom area was not decorated at all. One could not hear the pianist playing and it seemed odd to get up in between servings to listen in a dark room to rather bland music. You had advertised Christmas stories and wonderful Christmas music It was dull and dark in the piano room. The meal was not hot …luke warm our wine was sent to the wrong table and brought back to our table already opened It lacked the feeling of Christmas really and was overpriced We have been at the House many times but this was disappointing
Very disappointing. Previous luncheon was great but this “high tea” was not very fresh and served on plastic. Not worth $60.
While the service was very good and the staff lovely, the afternoon tea was far too expensive for what was offered. The amount of food was small and not fresh the bread was so hard my mother couldn’t bite into it. The sandwiches took small to a new level. The scones were also very small and came with a minuscule amount of cream and jam. Usually at afternoon tea in the UK you get two good size scones, and at other places in calgary you get at least one good size scone. I would not recommend, especially at that price point.
Other than the bread for a couple sandwiches being tough to bite, it was great!
