I absolutely love Tenth Street Gastropub. It used to be a dive called F.A.T.S. but was taken over by a new ownership/management group. The kitchen has been greatly upgraded. The food is always tasty, well prepared and served by friendly servers. The weekend brunch omelettes are among the best I've had here and elsewhere. As I walked in it there was a smell of... cat litter? A barn? I'm not sure but it was not welcoming. The service was slow as the place got too busy for 2 waitresses and on my way out a person walking exclaimed what the heck is that smell. Over all I think you can find better pubs in the hood. My wife and I caught supper at this place when we had an appointment on that side of town. The place was a bit dark and dated but seemed clean with lots of TVs tuned to different sporting events. I ordered the Blue cheese and Buffalo chicken pizza and my wife ordered a turkey Brie sandwich with salad. The sandwich tasted "old" to her. Anna our server spoke with her about it and it was decided to try the chicken fajitas instead. She thoroughly enjoyed that and we were just charged for the chicken fajitas. The pizza tasted better to me when it cooled of and I ate it by hand rather than by fork and knife. The blue cheese was overpowering and made the pizza greasy while it was hot. I expected to taste more of the buffalo chicken. Sorry folks but I am going to have to leave this one up to you to try and form your own opinion. Service was better than average. I would consider it to be an adult only place.

I have eaten here over a hundred times and have not had a less than good meal. Also great chicken wings!
What a find!! I was REALLY impressed with the unique appetizer choices. Everything we had went awesome with our drinks and was totally different from the average pub fare (although your standard appies were still offered). Gourmet finger food' is the best way to describe it. The atmosphere was mixed crowd, not pretentious at all and upbeat. Blue collar, white collar, singles, couples, groups...everyone just having good times. Lots of big screens and high top tables. You could tell that the manager was very hands on too. Service was top notch. Best value in Kensington I think!
Been coming here for a long time, fun place to get together and eat great food! The pizza here is awesome, homemade dough and sauce and lots of unique pies! The perogy pizza and the new lobster mac and cheese are awesome! The baked brie appy is yummy as well as the pumpkin gnocchi. They are always doing fun events and drink special nights as well as all the good games on tv.
