Overall, diners recommend giving this charming hole-in-the-wall restaurant a try for their impressive selection of expertly crafted sushi and maki.
By far my favorite place to eat sushi in Calgary. Their sashimi is always fresh and the cuts are huge! Their sushi is well made, I recommend volcano roll.
The menu at Tenshi Sushi offers a diverse selection of sushi, maki, and other dishes to choose from. Every time I have dined there, I have enjoyed delicious, expertly crafted sushi and maki in a pleasant and relaxing setting. It is a fantastic spot for a satisfying lunch.
I wasn't terribly impressed when I first walked in. This really is a hole in the wall place. My husband and I ordered the gyoza, takoyaki, California roll, inari hokkigai and crab nigiri, and a special Maki roll with scallop, tempura prawn and avacado. It was all delicious and the portion sizes were very generous. We'll absolutely be back.

I dined at Tenshi for the first time on a Monday evening and left feeling satisfied and eager to return for more sushi soon. The prices were great for the quality of food we received. Our bill for two people came to about $45, including tax and tip, for 3 rolls, soup, and 6 pieces of sashimi. We were even given a 4th roll by mistake, but when we alerted our server, she told us not to worry about it. Score!
