I visited this restaurant a while back and tried poutine for the first time. We ordered the vegetarian option and I appreciated the large variety of poutines they offer to choose from. View all feedback.

We went downtown to visit a friend for lunch, however by the time we arrived they had already eaten. He recommended that we try this poutine around the corner since that is were he had eaten for lunch. I had heard someone mention this place before but had yet to try it. Since we wanted an adventure we decide why not try something out of the ordinary. The restaurant is small and very quaint. Very few seating so its meant for take out. The menu is extensive and has a variety of combinations to choose from. It was hard to choose. We asked what they recommended and decided from there. Mine was a cheeseburger type one and my boyfriend has stroganoff poutine. They were both good and required both of us to walk abit off afterward. The prices were great for the amount of food you received. If your in the mood off the wall poutine this is the place.
While visiting Calgary we went here twice... two nights in a row. A very small hole in the wall restaurant but the poutine is quite good. We had the Steak Fajita, Chicken Fajita, Chicken Chili and Nacho Grande poutines. Tons of gravy, lots of cheese and the fixing on top of that were delicous. Do not be fooled by the smallish looking take out box that they come in. Both nights I could barely finish the regular size. They cram these little boxes full of fries and fixings.Very nice and helpful staff. We stood and talked to them a bit about the music selections (80's music) that is playing constantly.Highly recommended. A great place to stop if you are out and about. If you are from a small town like we are... it's a great treat to seek out while in the big city.
I am from Quebec, had lots of poutines... Must say this one is excellent, it's just that like in most restaurants, cheese portion is not generous. I miss those served in small towns like Saint-Raymond (Ti-oui... The best one ever). But still, I would go back there. Excellent service by the way, manager seems to really care about his clients.
