Really enjoyed lunch here after a day in the park. Service was good, and food was excellent. A little pricey and more formal, more for adults than kids, although kids can come here of course. You will enjoy the ambience and the meal. View all feedback.
What Christine Bayer doesn't like about Selkirk Grill:
The food was average at best. The steak sandwhich was so tough we couldnt finish it. The soup of the day was nice. The gluten burger was average. It's been years since I have been there...and it has gone down hill. View all feedback.
Our server (bald guy with accent) was very rude, he ignored us, never quality checked at all and wasnt even the one to help us with our bill. My Elk bolognese was cold, and my girlfriend's steak sandwich was blue rare although she ordered medium rare, not to mention her fries were undercooked and also cold. Will never return, hot dog i purchased in the park was better..

We had an enjoyable day touring the new exhibits & seeing parts of the park we had never ventured around. It's an amazing historical gem in the middle of Calgary. The grounds are impeccable & the staff really enjoy what they do.
Won't be back soon. Out on the patio, patrons were harassed by wasps everywhere, no apologies from staff and no warnings about the wasps prior to seating. When the food was delivered to the table, the staff forgot part of the orders and could not describe the food being served, for example, the charcuterie board.
We were at the heritage Park and stopped in for lunch. The menu choices were varied, 1/2 price wine by the bottle for lunch on Tuesday's. The food, service and all the staff were outstanding. Must return for dinner
