Saigon Gourmet Vietnamese Restaurant

I have to disagree with previous reviews I've read - this place is fantastic! If you ask, they will serve basil with your pho, and the staff are incredibly kind and friendly. They are always smiling and eager to assist. Just ask for anything you need and they will do their best to accommodate you. The food is delicious and affordable, especially if you're dining with a group. Despite being a small restaurant in Ogden, it has a nice atmosphere. Just note that the menu pictures on here may not be up to date.

What a surprise!. So, I am in town from Ottawa, my parents my aunt and I are going out for lunch. They suggest their favourite lunch spot Saigon Gourmet. We get seated order our lunch and are sipping tea, the waitress comes over and tells us the man that just left has just paid the bill for our table. WHAT we say, yes she says that table of three guys has picked up your tab. How nice is that. Big shout out to the nice man that treated us. Thank you. Now for a big shout out to the staff of the Saigon Gourmet, the food and service were both great. It is always nice to have these small places you can count on to be well fed. Ottawa will hear about the warm welcome I got in Calgary!

Great Food Best Service!!!. I was just there today with my kids and the food was awesome plus the service was great. I never get charged for any extras sauce!!!!

Saigon Gourmet is consistently excellent. I have been a patron of this restaurant since it first opened, and the food and service have always been top-notch. The restaurant is family-owned, and the staff is friendly, efficient, and skilled. I have sampled many items from the menu, all of which have been expertly prepared with high-quality ingredients. My personal favorite is the grilled shrimp, which I believe is the best in the city.

We live around Saigon and it is the best! We heard the rave reviews on CBC radio and have been going ever since. The food is delish and the staff is very friendly. I recommend it for sure!
