Raj Palace - Calgary

We were in Calgary for the weekend and visited the restaurant as per a co-worker's recommendation. Service was amazing, everyone was so nice. The food tasted incredible. We both loved everything we tried. Highly recommend trying Raj Palace, you'll definitely go back for more.

By far the best East Indian cuisine in Calgary. We were surprised with the complete turn around from a restaurant that we stopped visiting a couple of years back to one of the top quality restaurant, comparable to finest in India, Kenya and UK. Best bang for your buck in Calgary. We ordered 4 dishes besides papadum, nan and rice and each was finger licking good with amazing flavourful and distinct tastes in each one of them. My best and top East Indian Restaurant in Calgary. The manager, Thomas is also the chef that created the cuisine. The service by a fresh new server from India was also most amazing. Both the Manager/Chef and the server are from Taj Mumbai. No wonders, we have truly the finest of East Indian cuisines.

Stopped here for a quick bite on our way through Calgary. We each ordered a "dosa" or Indian crepe. They were huge portions and we definitely could have shared one. Friendly staff, effiecient service. We would definitely come back.

My daughter and I had a craving for butter chicken but didn't want a far drive across town. We went to our local strip mall and found Raj Palace. The staff were so friendly and helpful with recommending dishes. The meal was brought out fast and was hot and delicious. We will definitely return for the butter chicken with saffron rice and buttered Naan. The curry beef dish we had was too hot for my tastebuds but my daughter loved it. It was a bit pricey but well worth it.

We have a diet restriction within my family - no sodium or very, very low sodium We asked if the restaurant could prepare us some dishes.
