We had a great lunch at Prego. The 2nd floor patio (deck) has great views of the downtown and the foot traffic heading to Prince's Island. The food is classic Italian. The special today was a very tasty salmon dish. Good value for the money considering you are downtown Calgary. View all feedback.

Ordered the veal. First off the veal and pasta were excellent. But the details...not so much. Bread was stale. Wait staff apologetic, and indicated that is was Monday and therefore leftover from the weekend. He returned after heating it up which made it worse. Broccoli was over cooked and carrots under cooked. Like I said details. Not terrible.Would I return, not likely. View all feedback.
This is not a fancy restaurant but the food and service are excellent. We visited this restaurant on recommendation of our hotel and we were pleased. I had the veal manicotti and a spinach salad. Both dishes were wonderful. My husband had the salmon fettuccine and a green salad. He loved both of his dishes. We split the house red and it was also very nice. The service was efficient, pleasant and knowledgeable.
I had time while waiting to meet my sister at the airport to drive to Banff and someone recommended this restaurant downtown. It was very good. Service was excellent and I had a very good spinach salad with blue cheese and walnuts, etc and homemade cannelloni- with ground veal and cheese. Very quaint setting upstairs in a shopping mall area.

We stopped in the other day and can't believe this restaurant has been here that long and have never tried it.We had an outstanding waitress, very personal and outstanding at her job. She suggested a few dishes and we truly enjoyed both of them.My wife had a salad and risotto balls and she raved about them.I had the Chicken Parmesan dish with pasta and vegetables and it was just the right amount of food.We will be back to this restaurant not only because the service was over the top, but the food was also just as good.
