We ate here while spending the night in Calgary, awaiting a morning flight. It was well worth the trip from our airport hotel! The restaurant is nicely decorated. Service was prompt and very friendly. The food was outstanding. As some have commented, portions were not huge. Sure, we didn't have a large take out box at the end of the night, but I'd much rather pay for quality than quantity. If I lived in the area, thi... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Pad Thai Thai Noodles & Cuisine:
Ordered the pad Thai and beef stir fry. Portions were small for the cost of $35. Flavour wise pretty average though found both dishes in the sweet side. The beef is supposed to be spicy but found it rather bland. Not going back View all feedback.
5 stars for the whole team. had the pad thai and drunken prawns with cocospy rice. only wonderful taste explosion in my mouth. the aubergine with the tai pad was exactly the right amount of carbon grilled taste. the Thai icy. has made me think again, which icy (coffee) is my favorite. I never thought I liked something like Vietnamese coffee. only a wonderful experience with a Thai ambiente par excellence. this restaurant would be highly recommended. bon appetit. general director
I found this restaurant online and decided to try their authentic Thai cuisine. Unfortunately, I was disappointed by both the quality of the food and the service. I will not be recommending this restaurant to others and will not be returning.
My family has been trying out different Thai restaurants since we returned to Calgary. Recently, we discovered the best Thai restaurant in the province. Our experience at Pad Thai was excellent. The restaurant is located in a small area in NW Calgary with seating for approximately 50 people, featuring a cozy atmosphere with wooden accents. We were seated in a secluded corner to offer us some privacy. We did encounter a few hiccups at the beginning - our drinks were delayed and we had ordered veggie spring rolls but were served one with shrimp. However, the owner, who was also our server, apologized and promptly brought us two veggie spring rolls free of charge. The rest of the evening went smoothly. The flavors of the dishes were new and exciting, particularly the drunken prawns, recommended by the owner. The prawns were juicy and flavorful, coated in a crispy layer and served with tender eggplants. All the other dishes were exceptional, except for the green curry which was more soupy than saucy. Overall, we were very pleased with our experience at Pad Thai and are happy that we no longer have to travel to the city for great Thai food. We will definitely be returning.
There were four of us for dinner and each of us ordered a dish from the menu. Every dish was excellent as usual. In addition to the four main dishes, we also shared spring rolls and a side of coconut rice.
Really enjoyed this authentic Thai restaurant. Stylish but welcoming. My children loved the pineapple fried rice and yellow curry. The garden rolls, pinwheel and pad Thai rounded out the meal. Nice amount of food for 2 adults and 2 children, both under 10. Very kind...employees as well as the manager/owner (I assume) who came out to chat with us.
