We went to Oceana with a group of 12 people. The service was friendly and efficient. The menu reflected the Seafood Steakhouse moniker of the restaurant. Appetizer trays were vey tasty. The fish was well prepared and properly cooked. The rack of lamb was excellent. There was a nice choice of wines reasonably priced. A terrific place for a larger group. View all feedback.
What Pozzy Thump doesn't like about Oceana Seafood Steakhouse & Bar:
Overall the food was pleasant. We saw many 5 star reviews. Our seafood broschett and Bouillabaisse were decent but lacking salt. The crab meat portion in the soup was difficult to dig out of the shell and no utensils were included to do so. Ended up abandoning 1/2 the crab and took the rest of the soup home. I had the lobster bisque which was amazingly comforting, and i had the salmon linguine for main course and to say that it was to die for is an understatement. There is something genuine about this place, perhaps the love they put in their work. The servers are dedicated in the most respectful manner. Thank you Oceana for the great experience!
Excellent food and service. The Spanish octopus is terrific as are fish-and-chips!
Food and ambiance were great. Service could be improved. Server was a little cold.
Great food! service was a bit slow but we are grateful they are open during pandemic. A little disappointed since this dinner was to celebrate my husbands birthday which I indicated on the open table reservation but they didn’t seem to notice that. Only thing strange was they celebrated birthday of patron in the table beside us
Great food for a good price. Usually the service is good, but I think the server was stressed by covid closures.
