We stopped in for a quick dinner and drink on the patio tonight. Location is great, music was pumping and the seats were comfortable. Only minus being on 33rd Ave is the traffic noise. We had cider and a Moscow Mule - both refreshing. Dinner was dairy-free fish tacos for me and chicken blt sandwich on a gluten-free bun with gluten-free french fries! My husband was pleased with the options for his dietary restrictions... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Mad Rose Pub:
Ugh. Has something changed? I've come here at least 20 times before and never had the weirdness of today. A server who questioned her tip (18%) - granted it was a weird paying scenario but still - very strange to be confronted about your 18% tip. I don't know - we're questioning where our new meeting place will be after today. View all feedback.
This upscale and modern sports pub is a great place to come to in a suit and enjoy wings in style, or to stop by after work and have a drink with your colleagues. I absolutely love this place. The food here is exceptional, with must-try items like their mac and cheese that is unbelievably good, and pizzas that are out of this world. The drinks are reasonably priced and the specials are fantastic. The staff is wonderful, with managers who seem to care more than at other establishments I have been to. Make sure to visit, it will be worth your while. I personally come back here on a weekly basis.
I'll begin by mentioning the aspects of the restaurant that I enjoyed.
I ordered the Sirloin Hash and was disappointed to find that it was mostly potatoes with two undercooked eggs in the center and some fatty meat shavings. The service was also lacking. I would not recommend this restaurant.
Wandered in and found a table off to the side to meet my date.
