I work downtown and go here for lunch, everything I have tried so far has been really good. Good spring rolls and curry vermicelli! Satay beef fried rice is really good too and the pho. More pricey pho than other places but still good food. I would recommend it View all feedback.
What Laetitia Fabre doesn't like about Lotus Vietnamese Noodle House:
Invited to lunch here by a colleague. Service without a smile; food adequate but not the best quality; place is dirty especially the washroom (womens); busy but unsure as to why. Obviously owners don't care but it seems the customers don't either. Bad enough for me to take the time to try to warn others away with this review. View all feedback.
I like this place. They are immediately greeted and water and a menu is brought directly to your table. Prices are more than other Vietnamese restaurants...
I like this place. It is fresh and tasty, but it is pricier than other places and service was not super friendly this day. I recommend if you're in the area...
The best Vietnamese sub that I had outside Vietnam. Maybe better than that at all! The fish sauce on the sub was so delicious. Can't wait...
Came here for the first time and enjoyed a delicious lunch! Started with the appetizer platter which consisted of deep fried shrimp, spring rolls and salad rolls. For mains we ordered sate beef and sate seafood pho so good! The sate is super tasty and spicy, not oily or thick. One of best pho sate flavors I’ve had. The owner’s mom makes the sate herself! A really good serving of noodles in the pho considering there is only one size on the menu. Generous portion of meat/seafood, and the beef isn’t stringy or fatty. Definitely will come again when in the area.
It's hard for me to eat out being a pescatarian and being lactose intolerant. So eating Vietnamese food works best for me. You can never go wrong with pho. <br/ <br/ I got the Sate Seafood Pho, they had ran out of bean sprouts which was a downer for me but again not a deal breaker. There was no variance in size, so I knew it was going to be large. The Sate was the peanut based, not my favourite. However flavourful... The lack of actual seafood was disappointing. I was impressed that there was not a lot of noodles as I find most pho places over due it with the noodles to compensate for lack of meat or whatever else you have ordered. <br/ <br/ The vegetarian spring rolls were not that crispy and the inside mushy. Would not order this again.<br/ <br/ The waiter although nice, was a bit slower given there was only 2 tables I'm the restaurant. <br/ <br/ I have dined here a couple of times. I don't mind it. Not my favourite, however I wpuldntmind meeting friends hereif they chose it.
