What Charlie Smith doesn't like about Koto Sushi Izakaya:
Ordered sushi and rolls. Red tuna sushi was bland and tasteless. Rice was falling apart when I was picking up the sushi off the plate. Sushi didn't taste fresh. Was here for a client lunch. The sushi was not as good as I was hoping for. The roll flavours were ok, but the sashimi seemed not to be best grade. It was a touch fishy for my taste. Meal type: Lunch Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
Made a reservation for 4pm for the oyster happy hour. We were the first people there and we ordered 6 oysters to start. 3 out of the 6 oysters were bad. Not fresh at all, must have been leftovers from the day before? The other 3 were good and a lot fresher. Ramen wasn’t very good. Came for the oyster happy hour and ended up loving everything. They have limited number of rolls and Sashimi but the ones we had were amazing. We ordered the smoked Hamachi and it tasted amazing. A surprise favorite of the night was the soft shell crab bun. We'll definitely come back to try their other dishes. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
