I've always gone to the Kings on Barlow so I was very happy to see the one on Edmonton Trail. Service is swift and efficient. The Wor Wonton is out of this world. Loaded with veggies and noodles and the best chicken broth. It has plenty of wontons and the chilli sauce is the best. You have to ask for double the chilli if you are taking out. Three of us met at Kings for lunch on a Wednesday - there was no lunch crowd this day. As a gluten-free person, I had only one option - lemongrass chicken with rice noodle. The chicken was pretty good, and the noodles were a bit plain. My friends had wonton soups. They enjoyed the specialty of the house very well. The server was attentive & pleasant. The wor wonton here is excellent! I went for lunch and enjoyed a delicious bowl of soup. The broth was piping hot and all the ingredients were fresh and delicious.
I finally decided to give King's another chance and I was pleasantly surprised! I ordered the Veggie Noodle Soup with pork wontons, while my wife had the Queen's Wor Wonton with chicken dumplings and meat. Both types of wontons were juicy and packed with flavor, the broth was delicious, and the vegetables were fresh and tasty. I wasn't a huge fan of the noodles as they were too doughy for my liking, but my wife enjoyed them. The atmosphere resembled a cozy cafeteria and our server was very friendly. Just a heads up – the grill closes at 7:30, so make sure to arrive before then if you want more options than just soups and rice dishes.

Loved it! Went in and had the wor wonton and the appetizer platter two of us shared there were plenty of leftovers. It's very very filling and so light and delicious. Extremely friends and clean. I was worried about parking but it wasn't even an issue 6:30 on a Friday night. We will definitely be back to try some of the other menu items. We bought frozen soup and dumplings to take home both wor wonton and hot and sour. Love both so much.
Kings On the Hill offers consistently great food and is very conveniently located. They have a great menu that even includes breakfast! The wonton soup is delicious. I'll be back for sure!
