I ordered their 2023 YYC Hot Chocolate Fest entry, the Orange Tiramisu, and it was pretty good! I love how they have two restaurants in one building, so we can get good food and drink from one place. I'll have to get back to try happee peeps sometime! View all feedback.
What Ian & Frankie Harrison doesn't like about Jusfruit Southview:
$10 for a bubble tea that’s insane. It should be absolute perfection. The taro slush was good a little bit coconutty. However, the tapioca pearls seemed old, but probably over cooked because they weren’t too hard and Not marinated no flavour no sweetness. If you want to charge top dollar then there’s no room for error.
I had the worst experience at this restaurant. The girl at the front was incredibly rude, and the service was terrible. We were given bubble tea in a paper cup instead of a plastic one, even though the people before and after us received plastic cups. When I asked her about it, she said they were saving the plastic cups for the next day because they had only a few left. I've been to a lot of juice places with great service, but this one on 17th Avenue was the worst by far. I hope they read this so that no one else has to go through the same experience.
This was our first visit to this milk tea shop, and sadly, it did not meet our expectations. The drink was rather bland and lacked flavor, while the pearls were underwhelming—they were not sweet and had a slightly stale taste. The service was acceptable, but the drink really needs improvement. Overall, this was the worst milk tea experience I've had. I wouldn't recommend this place to my followers or to anyone who enjoys milk tea.
The server made every possible mistake with my order. I ordered two drinks and a taro crepe, but the first drink was overly sweet and extremely watery. The second drink lacked any flavor and was completely different from what I had ordered. Instead of a slice of taro cake, I was given a taro milk tea. I won't be going back to that place.
I ordered the Mango Colada and the new Avocado Colada. The Mango Colada was fantastic as always, but I was disappointed with the Avocado Colada. It tasted like just a mix of water, milk, and avocado, which was not enjoyable at all. I wouldn't recommend it; it felt like a waste of money.
It appears that only one person is capable of making drinks at this establishment. I arrived 17 minutes before closing, and the only staff member told me that "the person who makes the juice just left." If you're unable to provide the primary service of the shop, why even bother staying open?
