Joey's Fish Shack - Calgary

Ordered some fish and chips to go. I ate it when I got home. The fish was delicious, definitely above par for taste and quality compared to fish and chips you get at a pub or bar. Asked for the fries to be extra crispy and they were not only still hit when I got home but they were indeed crispy and very tasty. I recommend this place for a nice lunch if you're wanting something else than your normal fast food or such. Service: Take out

The fish and chips were ok. My son ordered the chicken burger which was fried in the fish oil so it tasted fishy. The burger was made out of thighs. The oil was old. Not a very good experience when I reached out to the owners I just received an apology. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

1st time visiting this location for my annual Good Friday Fish Meal...very pleased, the price is good for what you get...I had the Famous Fish Sandwich...it was large filling and 'Messy ', highly recommend...decore is very clean and comfortable...Owners Parminder and his wife are very friendly and welcoming...good find...will go again Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

Came here for the first time tonight and myself and my whole family were impressed by the quality of the fish and chips here!! they were crispy, yet light and flakey. i also enjoy that they provide a bottle of mayo so you can have as much as you want. usually places only give you a tiny container and it’s never enough. not here!! the pieces were large as well, me and my mom aren’t big eaters so we shared 3 pieces. my dad told the staff that we have found the best fish and chips place in calgary! plus it’s not too too expensive especially when looking at the size and quality. apparently they bought this place a month ago, so it’s new management they definitely made us feel at home here and we will be back again soon!! i will recommend it to my friends as well : they also have a tiny bit of parking in the back, and there is some street parking in the front and around as well!

Joey’s Fish Shack is a hidden gem for seafood enthusiasts! The ambiance is cozy and relaxed, perfect for a casual meal with friends. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable, always ready to offer recommendations. I can’t get enough of their fish and chips bursting with flavour and perfectly crispy! And don’t even get me started on their seafood platter; it’s a gem for seafood lover’s. Trust me, if you haven’t been to Joey’s Fish Shack yet, you’re missing out on some of the best seafood in town!
