Delicious coffee in a nice hidden away coffee shop with cozy vibes. The only thing to note was that the music was pretty loud but apart from that it was comfortable and the service was great. View all feedback.
What Alexa McCarthy doesn't like about I Love You Coffee Shop:
I wanted to give 5 stars initially but the intense smell of cigarette smoke floating down the stairs through the open door was unbearable. Had to leave, no way would I eat a meal in here. Such a shame because everything else is awesome, great decor, nice coffee and friendly baristas. Sad but I probably won’t come back because of how bad the smoke is. View all feedback.
First time visiting, a bit hard to find with such a tiny outdoor sign but this basement hideaway has great music and nicely matched sound system for the space. But I was disappointed with my coffee, I ordered a large latte to go which turned out be lukewarm and a bad pour, the two everything bagels were ok not great. Probably won’t go back. ?
Stumbled across this coffee shop while walking in the Beltline. A basement location with a funky interior and great jazz music being played. The latte was well-made and tasty and a toasted bagel was a nice add-on. I was a nice relaxing stop midday. Recommend.

Cute little underground coffee shop in Calgary. Right next to a book store, so you can pick up a book, grab a coffee and relax. The coffee was really delicious as well. I got a vanilla latte with oat milk, iced. It was around 5pm on a Thursday and it was nice and quiet.
Great little coffee shop! Dan has great taste in music and a pretty big record collection. You never really know which record he'll play which adds to the cool atmosphere. The Coffee is great and they have a good selection of local beer and wine as well. People seem to come here to study, hang out, and even just visit Dan. This place is definitely worth a visit!
