Husky House Restaurants - Calgary

This truck stop diner serves good, hot food that is always better than fast food. They also always have pie available.

First of all, I suggest that you come to this place with a hearty appetite.

We came as a family of 5 for breakfast, and were able to set up tables to accommodate us. The servers are always friendly, and we had our meals right away! I had the usual standard breakfast special (Bacon, eggs, hashbrowns, etc) and it was done the way I wanted it. Coffee is endless, and had to stop after 4 cups...lol Prices are good here, and it's a clean, well managed place!

Stopped here because I had a taste for a late breakfast instead of lunch. I was going to try the Perkins across the street first, but it was crazy busy and, usually, service and food quality suffer under those circumstances. I noticed Husky and, having eaten at Husky's in various parts of Canada, I was confident that I would get a decent meal, and I was right. Service was pretty good and the large breakfast special was as expected (big portion, eggs done to order and bacon cooked just the way I like it). Husky can be counted on to be consistent and this location lived up to that expectation.
