Han Chao - Calgary

My review has been long overdue, but we have been customers since day #1and have been so happy with Han Chao. This is actually the 3rd Asian restaurant to be at this location, and is by far the best! We both dine in and pick up at least 2-3 times a month, it 's that good. Vermicelli bowls are my go to , and theirs are always tasty fresh. My wife switches between vermicelli and the soups and rarely can finish them. We have yet to have have anything but excellent food and service! Shout out to James who always takes great care of us and even gave us extra Huy Fong hot sauce during the shortage lol! 5 Stars all around!

Very nice people running this restaurant. The food came out piping hot and had good flavor. There was a bit more breading than protein, hence the 4 stars. Would go back and try something different.

We all enjoyed a very nice meal here. Salt and pepper squid, ginger beef, beef with broccoli, pan fried dumplings, and schewan noodles with chicken. All piping hot, nice flavors and no greasy taste for the deep fried squid. A very good pick to satisfy your asian food hankering .

We have recently discovered this gem in our neighborhood. The food is consistently amazing, super fresh and flavourful. Great portion sizes for leftovers through the week. They are organized, efficient, and professional. We generally order to pick up so not sure what the dine in experience is like, but they have space and a view over the pond at Aspen Landing. Try it, let’s keep them in business for a long time!

Totally dissatisfied with our take out dinners for two everything was not fresh broccoli was brown and looked like if was cooked earlier and chicken balls were frozen insideRice was not fresh as well as ginger beef was dry
