Mother ordered dinner tonight as we’ve been ordering from golden leaf since I was young no problems im deadly allergic to seafood and never had a problem with the wong tong soup they changed management and when my mother came home I noticed it had vegetables and it never does so for precaution we called turns out I would of been hospitalized due to there being seafood. No where on the menu does it state this I have no dinner now and could’ve been hospitalized they took quite a while to figure it out as well not knowing what’s in it. Will never be ordering again
Beware, the food is NOT FRESH! I've ordered from Golden Leaf for years and food quality has gone downhill since their change in management. I've given them three chances, just to be sure, and now I'm sure I'll never order from them again. Last order cost me over $70 and I got salt and pepper squid that was all batter and air with a tiny pieces of squid inside, ginger beef with fresh and non-fresh pieces mixed in and a tiny bit of sauce at the bottom, stale tasting beef in the black bean sauce and on and on ... and they had the audacity to automatically charge a tip on the online order. What they think they're doing extra to earn a tip is beyond me. I'm convinced they will be out of business again in a few months. Do yourself a favor and avoid at all costs, the food is that bad!
The flavor is good, but the meat dishes have very little meat. I ordered the beef and broccoli and counted 4 pieced of beef.
We lived in the area for many years and always enjoyed the food. Returned recently for a visit. Sadly the owners have changed and so has the menu. The food is tasteless. The recipes are garbage and favourites are gone. Huge disappointment.
Not great. Definitely expect better quality than that for $85. Do not plan on returning.
