Gaucho Brazilian Barbecue - Calgary

I had the pleasure of attending a friend's bachelor party in a private room, which was fantastic as it allowed us to celebrate without worrying about making too much noise. The food was even better than I expected, and the service was exceptional—staff were friendly and attentive throughout our visit.

The food here is excellent, and the salad bar is incredibly fresh. The service could be a bit faster, but the atmosphere makes up for it. The restaurant is quite small and often crowded, but I really enjoy the vibe. I plan to return to try more dishes, especially the desserts. The flavors are fantastic, the ambiance is lovely, and there’s a great selection of wines. I absolutely love this place!

I also had an after-dinner coffee infused with alcohol, and it was delicious. How could you not want to return here several times a year for special occasions—not to mention just for the thrill of indulging in so much meat?

Gaucho is a pretty good Brazilian BBQ spot that serves up quality meat. My wife and I found all the beef to be similar in flavour, mostly just salty. Everything else we sampled from the salad bar (they have one of the best caesar salads) to the dessert was pretty good. Service was attentive and prompt.

For the number of staff members and guests crammed into a small space, and a messy service (Gauchos serving meat while getting the juices in the table and not cleaning it up) I rate this restaurant a 4.0 However, the staff is friendly, the salad bar had excellent choices for sides, and the meats/flavors were great. The service of the Gauchos could definitely have been better, especially paying a higher price. I reccomend this restaurant for the food and friendly staff only!
