Fusion Sushi - Calgary

After our main meal, we ordered an appetizer of spring rolls and waited for quite some time before they were brought to our table. It seemed the original server may have forgotten to ring in the order. After we finished the spring rolls, we waited for someone to come check on us for our bills, but ended up having to stand at the host stand to get them. Although I understand that restaurant rushes can be hectic and mistakes may happen, it appeared that there was a lack of communication among the staff regarding table assignments and tasks. Having multiple servers attending to our table during the rush led to some miscommunication. I would suggest implementing stricter sections for seating to avoid confusion. Additionally, no one checked in on us to ask about our meal, which is a small but important part of service. Despite these issues, I will give this place another chance in the future due to the excellent food and past positive experiences. I also want to note that the restaurant is very clean, which is always appreciated.

I have visited this restaurant several times and have always been impressed with the food and service. The lunch menu, priced at $20 per person, offers great value for all-you-can-eat, particularly for sushi lovers. The dinner menu is pricier but has a wider selection of dishes. As someone who enjoys eating a lot, I appreciate being able to dine out without worrying about leaving hungry or with a hefty bill. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

The quality of the sushi here is good and the price for the all-you-can-eat lunch is quite reasonable at $18. I especially enjoyed the spicy salmon rolls. This sushi restaurant is simple and always has a table available, which is a nice surprise for 17th Avenue. The all-you-can-eat special is excellent and very affordable. The staff is friendly, quick to help, and keep the place clean. The food is good, but not outstanding; there's nothing to complain about, but also nothing to get too excited about. If you're looking for a quick, easy, affordable, and reliable option, this is the place for you. It's ideal for groups and last-minute dining choices, but not the best option for a date. The decor and design definitely need an upgrade.

The sushi was okay, average, and the service was also okay. It was our first time at this location and our first server was very nice and explained how the All You Can Eat works. The food arrived quickly, but we didn't have chopsticks or any cutlery at the time and had to ask for it. The restaurant was busy, so we understood the minor inconvenience. However, our experience was soured when I left my gym water bottle behind. We returned 15 minutes later to ask for it, but no one had seen it. They didn't let me look around the table because there were other customers already seated. Overall, we found the staff unhelpful and won't be returning.
