Was Mike Dociu at Francesco's a mag?
I keep coming back to this place for a reason. The coffee is excellent, the food is fantastic, and the staff is very entertaining. The entire atmosphere has a quirky charm that I really enjoy. The Reuben sandwich is absolutely amazing! View all feedback.

What Shauna S dislikes about Francesco's:
Asian cafe under the guise of European. Terrible coffee. I so, so, so wanted to like this place but simply cannot and, boy, have I tried; been at least half a dozen times now and am disappointed every single time. Most nonchalant, disinterested staff; coffee, is bitter, even sour; rock hard cookies at $3/piece, so much as I love the ambience *jazz music and great lighting* it is an Asian owned cafe trying desperately... I love Franchesco Cafe. The staff are always so nice and accommodating. I'm vegan, so they always make my sandwiches vegan for me and my partner. I also love the ambiance. Such a gem.

This is a really good coffee shop with great coffee, a cool vibe, and friendly staff (plus a great freezer in the back with some awesome dinners). I really want to give them 5 stars they don't have wi fi (the only reason I need a coffee shop is because I work remotely and I like working out of different shops around town), and they also ask for a tip before anything was received or any service was rendered. 1 star for no reliable internet, 1 star for asking for a tip at the point of sale before receiving my order.More details:Unfortunately this shop does not have their own Wi Fi. There is a public Telus connection, but it is weak and very unreliable. If they had their own Internet with a reliable connection I'd be buying coffee and lunch here all the time.If you also work remote and you're looking for a place to get stuff done, this isn't the shop for you. But if you're looking for a locally owned place to have a coffee with your friend definitely check this spot out!

The staff here are warm and cheerful, always eager to chat with you. The coffee is incredibly delicious, crafted with a personal touch. Although I haven't...

I absolutely adore this charming neighborhood spot. The atmosphere is genuine, the food is exceptional, and they offer the best selection of cheeses along with fantastic coffee beans. It's all about eating local and supporting your community!
