Edo Japan - Shawnessy - Calgary

Simply excellent Japanese. Teriyaki chicken and shrimps are great. We tasted both with rice and noodles, equally great. Gyoza dumplings were crispy and yummy. The california rolls were fresh and tasty. They served authentic wasabi unlike most places. The place is well lit and clean. The staff is helpful with the choice of food and extremely courteous.

Stopped in for dinner to go. Quick friendly service. All our dinners were fresh and hot. We also got a side of spring rolls and my husband enjoyed them as they were crispy and fresh. California and veggie sushi rolls were good as well. Lots of sauce on Sukiyaki beef an shrimp. Always have good meals at this Edo

Not as good as the other Edo I went in Calgary, meat was too dry. Service was great! Very limited parking spots, long waiting time, it is a very busy store!

I've reviewed this location before.This trip was an average trip. Tasty food - there's just something about that sauce teriyaki that's so good. My wife, daughter & I all gobbled up our meals.Biggest drawback to this visit is that there seemed to be less food than usual in the container (at least mine). When I opened the container at home, it looked like noticeably less food.

If it good Enough for a Sumo, its good enough for Me, I had the Beef Yakisoba, with the beef cook well done, I added some saracha sauce, I may say it was hot. Clean & quick service I may say!!
