What Aleksandra Loewenau doesn't like about Donna Mac:
The service was good attentive and friendly. 3 stars because the venue looks like an upscale cafe plus charging $18 for a chicken sandwich without side is a bit expensive. View all feedback.
Delicious food! Came to open immediately and got a table. The atmosphere was great, staff polite and food quite excellent. The Beet Pastrami was delicious with fresh berries, sourdough and ingredients. The Perogies were large, soft and filled, with a very beautiful filling. The chicken sandwich was juicy and beautifully seasoned (although the bread at the end of the sandwich got a little soggy) and Za'atar fries were nicely crisp and seasoned. Drinks were also great, with the Princess Peach was a nice citrus cocktail that worked well with the food. Would you recommend if you are in the area, or looking for a beautiful contemporary kitchen for a day/night with friends or a loved one.
Great experience. I had not heard of Donna Mac, but was invited by my family to brunch. On foot to the restaurant, it looked open and welcoming mainly with all the windows. On foot, I was pleasantly greeted, although the server was a little busy I knew that I had her attention enough so that she could finish with the client she had already helped and she visited me right after supporting the other cartridge. I also don't think she rushed because it seemed that her needs were met and the server moved on. I sat right away when she knew that my family was, but I didn't feel like a trouble, though I was about five minutes too late for our reservation. Our table server was asked to ask for my beverage order and fill out the menu. She was polite and didn't crash me for my order. We had a few brief questions that were answered exactly what made our orders run faster. While we wait for our food, we all commented on the establishment of the restaurant. It is such a large and open space, but they were still able to feel comfortable and comfortable. There was a brunch rush on the run, but we weren't disturbed by ambient noise and I felt as if it was enough that we didn't have to worry about eavesdropping. The food service was fast and the coating was great. Each serving plate was different and retro and the foods fit well with the portions. I had the Pirogies with a pig bell and it was fantastic. Our table shared her home salad with fresh greens and mushrooms with a perfect amount of dressing on it. Unfortunately there were no remains because the food was properly distributed. We had enough to fill us and maybe two bites. I'll be back for the service, food, ambience.
Super delicious food! The nets do not come with sides, but the parts were very reasonable. The risotto and chicken burgers were incredibly big chicken on a burger I saw! Would highly recommend the frits and croquettes it absolutely worth it. Our server was also fantastic! Will definitely be back
Wonderful experience here! The food is so fresh and delicious. The beer pastrami sandwich is from this world! So much taste. The tomato salad was also very overwhelming. I had basic expectations, but it was much more. Your sour batter is perfect. The service was very attentive and the servers were knowledgeable and made good recommendations.
Unbelievable fried chicken sandwich for happy hour! The donna mac burger was also great. I would definitely come here again to try more items on the menu.
