The service is prompt and friendly, with regular refills of water and quick clearing of empty dishes. The portions are generous, the food is flavorful but not heavy, and the naan is fresh. With tasty food and friendly service, this is a place worth returning to.
We hase eaten at this restaurant many times and have never been disappointed. The food is well prepared, tasty and reasonably priced. The people who work there are pleasant and helpful.
As the title says, I prefer their buffet to any of the other ones I have been to (now, that's not a lot, as I very rarely go). They had a nice mix of selections, and if you stay away from the butter chicken, you can actually get out with your arteries relatively unclogged. I found all the dishes fresh and well made.
We called them before to know about the timings of the restirant. He said it ll be open till 10. We reached there at 9:15 he said if u will be finish eating by 10 thn u r welcome. If u cant finish it by 10 thn we llKick u out of the resturant. Very rude. The ambience was not good at all and was stinking. Cleaninees was not there. The customer service was worst i have ever seen.
I do not come from India, but I love mild Indian cuisine. This restaurant seems to be my favourite among the Indian ones in Calgary. I have been there for lunch and dinner buffet. It has enough variety to keep me wanting to try different meals. A word of caution - they have huge plates. If you try to fill one up, it is worth about 3 normal plates. I definitely recommend this place!
We have been to Delhi Darbar a few times now. It's a little bit of a hole in the wall (that's a good thing), the food is fresh and portions larger then other Indian restaurants (Kheer was almost enough for 2). Service was friendly and professional. We will definitely be back!
