I'd heard about the coconut cake so dropped in for a slice, it was delicious! You can taste the fresh creamy ingredients that went into it, worth every penny. It's the kind of cake that's creamier at room temperature or if you prefer a cool treat you can keep it in the freezer. I ended up ordering a birthday cake for my son's and my birthday next week (yes it's the same day)! The owner and staff are very accommodatin... View all feedback.

I had ordered 6 cut pieces of cake for a party, and when I unpacked them the pieces were unequal in size. This made an awkward situation. I returned the next day to give them feedback, and no apology was given. View all feedback.
Customer service practices by the owner are terrible. The staff is safe friendly, but the owner forces the staff to lie about items available that force customers to buy the cakes that are less popular. New visit tonight after he was lied on last weekend and was told that there was no cheesecake. I spent $50 and stepped down to prepare her and brought a cheesecake from behind. Was tonight and another lie about choice. Customers before me bought whole strawberry cheesecake. I asked what they would replace it. They could say the same tactics were used to force customers to select from the two elements in the case. I was hoping to have a lot of things because we had to buy several people. I asked about a manager number. The owner stopped from behind and I asked for a number to call a discussion before their other customers. She said it's not good now. She then advised that she would not “argue” with me and lied that the staff did not know what was in the cooler while the entire staff stood in the door, doing nothing and watched me voice my complaints. She also told me she had no time to deal with my complaint by phone as she was too busy. Now there was only one other customer in the store and at least six employees. Please take your business to one of the other places that appreciate your business... The Cookie Bar, small pancakes, Mini Dixie Donuts... all these places are locally owned and really want your business!!!! Stay away from high prices accompanied by an owner who lacks the skills to treat customers with respect.

After a big burger dinner next door we decided to enjoy the only way Decadent Desserts was to take home later. I haven't been there in many years; since they moved from 17th Avenue to 10th Avenue and 8th Street SW. It was empty, so we had a nice chat with the lady who works there. There were some fresh leaks in one case and we chose 7 to fill a box to go. We had a cheesecake brownie that was very good, some shortbread/pecan/chocolate cookies in dark and milk that were excellent, a wonderful biscotti, and some peanut butter bars that we last saved. I wish we didn't have it because they were really not good. The peanut butter bottom was stiff and had the texture of crispy muesli. I scratched the chocolate goose top and left the rest after too much fight to get it down. Dessert must be delicious to make the fat and calories worthwhile. Overall, it was a good experience and we would go back for the treats we liked best.
After finishing my meal at nearby The Holy Grill, I decided to stop here for dessert. It is in the style of a bakery. I ordered a dessert unique to this bakery, but can 't remember the name of it at the moment. I think it started with an s and was triangular. It was named after the person who came up with the recipe. Anyway, it was good and I gather quality is important to this establishment. I only tried that one thing so I can 't speak from lots of experience, but it was good. Service was friendly and helpful.
