It 's hard to find duck dis... read more I was extremely pleased with the food, the service, the atmosphere, and the prices! Every single dish our table tried was delicious! It 's hard to find duck dishes prepared well but the 'Duck! Duck!! ' truly blew me away and I can 't wait to go back and have it again. I 'll let the photos speak for themselves, everything treally tasted as good as it looks.

The service was top notch both servers were very knowledgeable of the menu and wine pairings, and really helped make this an outstanding dining experience. My partner and I shared everything and wow it was fantastic! We had the caprese salad, scallops and the dinner feature of the day, which was a seafood pasta dish and amazing. We will be back!

They do a good job with combining Italian pasta, cheese/ truffle, etc. with Japanese style sauce , meat and other ingredients for delicious and flavorful dishes. I love the 3 ways of Lamb and the mussels. For Duck!Duck! I personally think the meat would be more tasty if it could be more done or seared crispier.

We ordered the bucatini with waygu beef sauce, duck duck duck, spicy tuna tartare, and the seasonal parfait. Food was good, but not overly amazing. We found our favourite was the spicy tuna tartare.

They started in a small, old space previously occup... read more I was pleasantly surprised by the unique concept at Carino, where Japanese and Italian cuisine are combined. They started in a small, old space previously occupied by an Italian restaurant and flourished. After moving to a larger location nearby, they faced challenges due to Covid, but managed to survive. I finally had the opportunity to visit and was impressed by their growth. The staff was welcoming and friendly, and although the menu is now only available online, daily specials were written on a board. The chef, originally from Nepal, also offered Momos, which were delicious. Our group tried a variety of seafood, risotto, pasta, and chicken dishes for our main course, all of which were flavorful. We opted for individual glasses of wine instead of a bottle, and were pleased with the selection. For dessert, we enjoyed Nutella cheesecake and chocolate mousse parfait. Overall, we had a fantastic meal and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. We look forward to returning soon.

The Japanese style pasta is pretty different from Italian one. The pasta sauce can be soya sauce or seaweed etc. It is lighter and refreshing. We ordered special fish pasta, portion was good for 2 people. We had the fish first then the waitress took back the bones and head to make the pasta sauce. It was delicious and fish was fresh. The mussel and fries were a good appetizer. The sauce of the mussel was a bit spicy and heated to maintain the temperature. The lamb in Sapporo sauce was very different and highly recommended. We will come again for lunch to try out their ramen.

Also helping her was Josh, who seemed to be very knowledgeable about the specialties offered here, including the quite expensive) whole fish dish. The twist that this restaurant has put on the dishes make it a unique and very tasty experience. We really enjoyed our visit for dinner.
