What Macie Lakin doesn't like about Blackbird Public Urban Bar:
The chicken burger was not delivered but instead got a chicken dinner. It was really dry the mashed potatoes were cold and the house salad was not fresh. I ordered the beef dip the au jus was forgotten I made my own. Was very...dry the caesar salad was not fresh. There was a coleslaw in the container not ordered but it looked like it was a few days old. View all feedback.

Has a decent beer selection and a good variety of wing flavours. Sadly it's those tiny little wings which are okay but don't really get me overly excited. The waitress was great and very friendly considering how busy it was. I'm happy it opened, as Auburn Bay really needed a bar. I went on wing night and during a Flames game... So it was busy and loud and I'm not a fan of either so I was going to rate it three stars but my gf really liked it so maybe I was just being a grump, I was kinda tired.
Great neighborhood pub! ALWAYS great service and food! When my parents are in town, it is a “regular” visit! My mom is a very heavy Celiac and our servers are always very conscientious. I've been going to the Blackbird as often as possible since I moved to the area three years ago! Some of my/our favorites on the food page: Nachos, Steak-Bisse, Oyster-Nacht (Thursday), Steak Frites (Auchs), Burger, Fish and Chips were always consistent and good portions.
What a great experience, the bartender and staff right from the beginning were special. There was a lot of accommodations that were made for us to join our friends at the bar and it felt really special. The food was absolutely the best high quality...ingredients that was above any regular pub. Thank you for your hospital.
The quality of the food at this restaurant is inconsistent, with some dishes being great while others are not. The service is usually good, but there have been some negative experiences. As a result, we don't dine here as frequently due to the inconvenience of the service and variability in food quality.
