Food was delicious, I definitely recommend trying it out. Perfect for vegetarians and meat lovers. If you like wine bring your own (no alcohol on the menu) they do not charge a corkage fee View all feedback.
What Tiffany Dach doesn't like about Anatolia:
They dealt with my gluten and dairy allergies well. The waitress was nice, but harried. They need a calmer atmosphere...too many of us were trying to get to the theatre at once. View all feedback.
This place is a gem. The space is difficult to decorate with its vaulted ceilings and wide open spaces but Anatolia has done a great job making it feel classy while remaining comfortable. The service was very professional with a friendly touch. We let them know we were going to a show at 7:30 and they made sure everything came out with plenty of time to enjoy it. The food was really exceptional. We had the lamb skewer and eggplant and both were stunning. There was just the right kind of singed smokey taste on the outside while being tender and juicy on the inside. Very nice flavours all around. They even offered to make it ready to share instead of one entree each. The staff were very accommodating and the food was excellent. Also, it's quite a treat to have a high quality BYOB restaurant in the downtown core. The price was also absolutely reasonable and I look forward to my next meal at Anatolia!
Amazing food, value prices and they treat you very well.
I have been coming to Anatolia's for many years and it never disappoints. Excellent food and service. A long time colleague of mine, who grew up in Ankara, now works in NL, reports that it is equal to her mothers home cooking. No place in Western Europe has she found a Turkish restaurant that she would ever want to go back to. Now ever visit to Toronto must include a stop in Etobicoke.
This restaurant is consistently amazing! I have never had a negative experience here. I highly recommend it.
Anatolia exceeded our expectations for the second time. The meze platter was delicious and the bread was amazing. The pide and kunefe were also excellent. Despite some negative reviews about the service, we found it to be quirky but consistent. Remember to bring your own wine as they do not serve alcohol.
