The menu offers... read more Whether you dine in or take out, 6a Snack’s new breakfast menu is fantastic! I especially love the congee—it’s the ultimate comfort food for me. The menu offers a wide variety of meals, snacks, and delicious Japanese-style desserts, including beef curry with rice or spaghetti, as well as Taiwanese-style braised pork served over rice or rice vermicelli noodles. For a classic Hong Kong treat, don’t miss the red bean ice cream drink or the pineapple bun with ice cream. Just a note—the pineapple bun doesn’t actually contain pineapple; it’s named for its crispy, fruit-like topping! Plus, they share their space with Truedan, so you can also enjoy one of their bubble teas.

The bubble teas were excellent as well. It’s very reasonably priced and a perfect way to try several dishes in one meal. The desserts were tasty too.

I got the Taiwanese braised pork rice dish, but it came with rice noodles ins... read more I ordered delivery from 6a Snack and it was one of the worst experiences I've had. I got the Taiwanese braised pork rice dish, but it came with rice noodles instead. The amount of meat and sauce was minimal compared to the noodles, making the dish very dry. The egg wasn't braised long enough for any flavor to soak in, leaving it tasteless. Because there wasn't enough sauce, I had to steam the noodles myself to separate them since they were all stuck together, and microwaving didn't help. The milk tea wasn't sealed properly, causing it to leak everywhere, even into the rice noodle dish. The sandwich bread was cold and dry. The only positive note is that the milk tea was decent. Eating in the restaurant might be a better experience, but I’ve never had such a poor delivery from any other place, and there are far better options in Calgary. I cannot recommend this place.

The fries... read more I've visited 6a Snack twice for the snack combo, and it was fantastic each time. The takoyaki, shrimp, and spring rolls were all delicious and crispy. The fries were also crispy, and I loved having the option to choose from a variety of toppings. The tea from the attached TrueDan was always flavorful. The service was great—very friendly and helpful staff. It's exciting to see the menu expanding, and the tea offerings feature seasonal selections as well. I recommend opting for takeout since seating is limited.
