To me Starbucks is Starbucks nothing new. For those who want to order and is not sure on the location ask the barista! I still send my order to the wrong location but hey since I'm in The Core it's easy to get from one location to the next. I tried their new Caramel Waffle Cone frappuccino and by far it is one of the best fraps I ever tried. Although it doesn't taste like waffles or cones but mostly caramel but hey i... In my opinion, Starbucks is just Starbucks—nothing particularly unique. If you're unsure about where to place your order, don’t hesitate to ask the barista! I've made the mistake of sending my order to the wrong location, but since I’m at The Core, it’s easy to hop between different spots. I recently tried their new Caramel Waffle Cone Frappuccino, and I must say, it’s one of the best frappes I’ve ever had. While it doesn't exactly taste like waffles or cones and is primarily caramel-flavored, it’s still really enjoyable!
I really enjoy this Starbucks. It's busy but runs efficiently, and the staff is friendly. They recently renovated the space, making it cozier as well. Of course, the prices and drinks are what you’d expect from any Starbucks. The beverages are fantastic, and I’ve never had an issue with them. I did buy some yogurt here once that wasn't fresh, but they were quick to exchange it without any hassle and even gave me a card for a free drink as an apology. Mornings can get quite hectic, so you might want to steer clear during that time. Also, seating is a bit limited.
This Starbucks is conveniently located near my office, making it easy for me to grab a coffee on my way to work or meet vendors since it's centrally situated. There’s no shortage of Starbucks in the area; right upstairs on the second level, there’s another one, and across the street in TD Square, there's a newly renovated location. Additionally, about a block away in Scotia Center, you can find yet another Starbucks. Typically, there’s not much of a line, but if there is, they manage it well. Someone often walks down the line taking orders on coffee sleeves, so you can simply hand those to the cashier when it's your turn to pay. Although I haven’t sat inside, I appreciate that the option is available. Unlike some other Starbucks locations, like those in Mission or on 17th Ave, you won’t find someone setting up an entire office with a computer, printer, and filing cabinet here—after all, it’s free Wi-Fi, not free office space!
This is a classic Starbucks location with swift service. It offers everything you'd typically expect from a Starbucks, along with comfortable seating! The coffee is good, consistent with the quality from this well-known chain.
We all know what Starbucks has to offer, although their prices aren't exactly a highlight. What I particularly want to note about this location is their practice around 6 or 7 PM when they give away the leftover baked goods for free. They may not be as fresh as in the morning, but they’re always delicious and a delightful surprise. The staff strolls around with a tray, offering whatever treats are left to the customers present at the time. During one visit, I enjoyed a Danish, while my coworker had a muffin and another had a scone. It’s a clever strategy on Starbucks' part because it often tempts you to purchase a new coffee or tea to pair with the pastry!
