A nice surprise for a neighbourhood restaurant - decor is lovely with friendly service. The food was well done. We had the chicken tacos (really good), halibut, steak and ribs. All were delicious - comparable with your downtown restaurants. The only drawback is that they don't offer any beer on tap. View all feedback.
What Margarette Grady doesn't like about Two-One Bistro:
This is the worst experience I have ever had. I really wish I could get my money back. It was very loud, disorganized and terrible overall. The waiters didn't know which tables belonged to them. The people there were incredibly loud, enough to visibly disturb everyone else, and nobody did anything about it. The food was badly seasoned and cooked. The portions were tiny. Never come here, never. It is a terrible hotel... View all feedback.
My sister and I visit this gem regularly for lunch and, more recently, for their new Sunday brunch. It is a family owned and run bistro and the owners (the chef and his wife) obviously take great pride in their restaurant. The menu is not extensive but there are plenty of choices and what they offer is excellent and the prices are very reasonable. The service is efficient and friendly. We have tried many different items and have never been disappointed. It is great to find a neighbourhood restaurant offering food and service of of such a high standard.
This is a great little spot tucked away in Willowpark. The service was warm and friendly, and the decor is very welcoming. The food was delicious. We will definitely be back.
I had my first meal in this wonderful bistro. The food and the service was excellent. I was impressed with the decor and the high-end feel that greeted me when I entered the room was escorted to my table. I wasn't expecting this as it is situated in a little plaza in a quiet residential area of SE Calgary. Good job Rodney!
I have visited this elegantly decorated restaurant several times in recent months. It offers a peaceful, cozy atmosphere for a intimate dining experience, or a casual spot to unwind with friends and engage in conversations. The appetizers are exceptional and perfectly executed. My top choice is the gyozas! The pasta dishes are flavorful and innovative, and both the ribs and lamb were delightful. The staff is attentive, although some may lack experience. The owner is very meticulous and takes the time to personally welcome his guests. I highly recommend this restaurant.
We have been to this lovely, intimate restaurant in Willow Park several times this past year for both lunch and dinner. We have, without exception, had excellent meals and excellent service. The owner/chef is very skilled and obviously takes pride in his work, and he does not disappoint. The bistro is our go-to restaurant with friends, who have been equally impressed. Definitely a destination for those who desire a quiet, elegant lunch or dinner.
