What Karl Bashirian doesn't like about 4th Avenue Cafe:
The waitress was nice but that's about it. The happy hour appies and margarita were terrible, super dated place, burger wasn't very good and at $22 for a plain burger and tiny side salad, way over priced. View all feedback. What Karl Bashirian likes about 4th Avenue Cafe:
This small cosy bar is a nice spot for a couple of drinks and a bite to eat after a day out and about on a chilly Calgary day. It can't be seen easily from street as it's down some stairs. read moreThe recently reviewed restaurant received mixed feedback. Some customers found the food and drinks disappointing, while others enjoyed it. The customer service was generally good, even with the occasional mess up. The complimentary breakfast was average, but helped to start the day. The International Hotel's lounge received a somewhat negative review due to misleading advertising and lack of complimentary appetizers. However, a separate review praised a cozy bar for its good service, cold beer, and tasty food. Lastly, one glowing review highlighted a delicious beef dip that was deemed worth the trip downtown despite the higher price point.
